About the Firm

Founded in 2020 by Marcus Ziemke, M. Ziemke Architecture is a full service architecture and design studio, dedicated to the creation of private residences. Our work is rooted in careful observation, research, and the use of lasting materials - designing homes that are as timeless as they are specific to place and the people who live in them.

For clients with complex needs or long-range plans, our involvement often evolves. We offer continuity over years and across properties, advising on land use, master planning, and the discreet integration of the complex infrastructure upon which strong architecture and design is founded.

We collaborate closely with families, advisors, and allied professionals to ensure that each project is not only well-designed, but carefully considered, built on trust and discretion. Our aim is to deliver homes which reflect not just aesthetic values, but broader intentions — for how a property is lived in, sustained, and passed on.

About the Team

In addition to Marcus, the studio is comprised of 8 architectural designers. We have a mix of project managers and junior architects from various backgrounds, all of whom bring a diverse range of talent to each project.
